The new four-issue mini-series centered around Jedi Knith Reath Silas and Padawan Amadeo Azzazzo investigating the history of the Echo Stones kicks off with the pair watching a holocron history of Sith Lord Darth Ravi. It appears each of the next two issues will feature a similar format with the pair learning about other Force wielders and their experience with the Echo Stones.
Darth Ravi’s tale is interesting enough, although I can think of other ways to tell the story to liven things up a bit and make it more exciting. We learn how the power-mad Sith learned of the existence of an Echo Stone and sought it out on the dead moon of Gothol which had been encased in an impenetrable shell of traps and puzzles to keep the stone safe from any who would wield it. Ravi eventually reached the stone, after the campaign to do so cost him everything, only to have the stone destroy him in the end in the morality tale of being careful about what you seek.
