Throwback Thursday takes us back to Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! for another mystery involving some meddling kids and their talking dog. After seeing a UFO and getting shipwrecked on a small island in the Bermuda Triangle, Mystery, Inc. begin to investigate discovering an odd local, an underground cavern, a submarine, the stolen planes, and a group of Skeleton Men.
The plot of the episode has more than a few flaws. With enough money to finance such an operation involving a submarine and technology capable to taking over and electronically piloting a plane, was reselling the stolen planes really the best way to make a profit? And why didn’t the planes just fly right through the holograms and be on their way? Given how much time is spent before the gang start their investigation, there isn’t enough time to do much clue gathering or have time to set a trap. The episode also lacks any memorable villains, monsters, or moments, but still provides some minimal Scooby-Doo fun.
