Cate Blanchett retuns as Queen Elizabeth in the sequel to the 1998’s Elizabeth. The story centers around the Queen’s attempts to stop conspiracies aimed to kill her and put Mary Queen of Scots (Samantha Morton) on the throne, an attacking Spanish armada, and her relationship with explorer Sir Walter Scott (Clive Owen).
