- Title: The Flash – Monster
- wiki: link
Monster attacks around the city by a beast that seems to appear and disappear at will force Barry (Grant Gustin) to work with Julian (Tom Felton) to investigate the cause. Initially believing the attacks are being caused by yet another out-of-control meta-human, Julian is forced to admit his error (and also his possible misjudgment of both the Flash and Barry). Since being introduced the character of Julian has been nothing but a thorn in Barry’s side, “Monster” begins to develop the character more deeply and get to the root of problem with meta-humans.
The episode continues two B-stories. The first concerns the team’s new Harrison “H.R.” Wells (Tom Cavanagh). Cisco (Carlos Valdes) immediately suspects something is up with their new teammate, but it will take the entire episode to discover just what H.R. is keeping from the team. Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) earns her own story this week as her increased concern over her powers forces her not to turn to her friends but her estranged mother (Susan Walters). Given what she finds it appears that we may not have to wait too much longer for Earth-1 to get its own version of Killer Frost.
