- Title: White Collar – Taking Account
- wiki: link
Mozzie (Willie Garson) makes a new lady friend when the bank accounts of several customers, including Sara (Hilarie Burton), are cleaned out by a hacker (Lena Headey). Of course, things aren’t exactly as they seem.
It turns out or hacker designed the code to get into the bank but she’s actually the fall guy for the real culprit (Kahan James). Not to fear, Neal (Matt Bomer) has a plan! He enlists the help of Sara and Mozzie to help him steal the identity of the man whose account now holds the ill-gotten gains and starts spending like crazy to draw the real thief out into the open. Let’s just say Peter (Tim DeKay) isn’t exactly 100% on board with the plan (which Neal forgets to run by him).
The episode also sees Sara move in temporarily with Neal, now that her bank accounts are empty. This just further exasperates Neal’s continuing dilemma with his feelings for Sara and friendship with Peter weighed against the chance of freedom and wealth by leaving town with the Nazi treasure.
A fun episode that sees Mozzie get a little love, as well as the possible beginnings of a tift between he and Neal over leaving with the art versus staying in New York. And for the second episode in a row the show gives us a new discovery by Sara about Neal’s plans, but we’ll have to wait until next week to see how she’ll react to knowing Neal is in possession in millions of stolen Nazi artwork.
