- Title: The Blacklist – Mr. Solomon

Events move quickly in the two-part “Mr. Solomon” as the show makes a major shake-up with the death one of its main characters. With Mr. Solomon (Edi Gathegi) freed by a new benefactor the old enemy crashes Lizzie‘s (Megan Boone) wedding to grab the former FBI agent. Eventually breaking free with Tom (Ryan Eggold), Liz’s life on the run is short-lived as she goes into premature labor and the complications of giving birth lead to major consequences for the show.
Given Tom’s ressurection we know the show is enough of a soap opera that Liz’s death could just be a ruse to temporarily write Boone off the show while she deals with her real-life pregnancy. The more interesting question isn’t if Elizabeth Keen is truly dead but should she stay that way? Such a loss will be felt by every member of the task force, particularly Reddington (James Spader) whose response to Elizabeth’s death might turn out to be worth Boone’s permanent exit from the show.
